Steve Collins is currently in his 2nd year as teacher and offensive coordinator at Montgomery County High School in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Prior to his time in Kentucky, Collins spent nineteen years in Georgia as a teacher, athletic director, and offensive coordinator. Five of those years were spent as head football coach for Grove High School and Stockbridge High School in McDonough, Georgia.
Coach Collins earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Promotions with a minor in Physical Education from Liberty University where he played football as quarterback and receiver. He holds teaching certifications in Health and Physical Education and Secondary Science from State University of West Georgia in Carrolton, Georgia, a Masters degree from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas and a Doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Walden University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Collins and his wife, Shelley have four children and reside in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
