Teach every student the content standards
- from a curriculum that is rigorous and aligned to local, KCAS, and national standards
- that are directed by student friendly learning targets, I can statements, pacing guides, unit and lessons plans that are aligned with the content standards
- that actively engages all students in relevant and researched based instructional practices that are appropriate for content and contribute to student learning
- using instructional strategies and learning tasks that facilitate multiple levels of learning and addresses multiple learning styles

Assess and monitor for master of the content standards
- Plan assessments that are aligned to the standards and guide instruction and measure learning objective/targets
- Use walkthrough/observation data to monitor mastery of content

- Use multiple assessments to check student progress and mastery
- Analyze student work
