New HS Development Docs Presented to BOE

Ross Tarrant Architects presented computer generated images of what the new CCPS High School may look like when completed.

Speaking to the Board of Education at the December 15, 2009 Regular Meeting, Ross Tarrant representatives displayed sight drawings that indicated many of the exterior design elements of the soon-to-be constructed facility.  Also, some detailed images of the interior foyer area and library/media center were shared. Other info presented showed layouts of the overall site, traffic flow, parking areas, future phases of construction and possible locations for the sports facilities.

The architects stressed that the designs presented were developed over several months of meetings with the High School steering committee and were based upon opinions, experiences, and requests of the group.

Here is a link to a web gallery of the PowerPoint presentation given at the board meeting.  There you can view the individual slides of the drawings and get a feel for what the new school may look like!
