Please join Clark County Public Schools in congratulating Mrs.Tammy Parrish as the new Director of Human Resources!
Mrs. Parrish is a Clark County native and 2000 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School. After high school, she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business Technology and Elementary Education.
In 2008, she completed her first Master’s degree as a Reading and Literacy Specialist and in 2012, completed her second Master’s degree in Principalship and Administration. In 2020, Mrs. Parrish studied human, technical, and conceptual employment skills while completing her Ph.D. in Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.
Mrs. Parrish began her working career at Lowe’s Home Improvement Center where she gained business and employee managerial experience. She is a fifteen year veteran of the field of education and has served as classroom teacher, team leader, Kentucky Teacher Internship Program Resource Teacher, and Reading Specialist. Currently, Mrs. Parrish serves our district as an Instructional Specialist. She brings both managerial and educational leadership experience to the Director of Human Resources position.
Mrs. Parrish resides in Winchester with her three children and husband, Tony. She will begin her new duties as Director of Human Resources on July 1, 2021, and is looking forward to serving all classified and certified staff in the Clark County Public School System.
