On Wednesday, November 13, Clark County Public Schools celebrated World Kindness Day. Collaboration between school counselors, teachers, and cafeteria staff made this event a total success! The school cafeterias in the district partnered with JonnyPops (a frozen fruit smoothie treat) whose mission is "to make the world a better place one pop at a time".
The JonnyPops company supplied Kindness stickers and Kindness Pledge Certificates, which were distributed to each school. Students who were caught doing acts of kindness received a sticker, and many students made kindness pledges. During lunch, all students and staff received a free JonnyPop as a special treat.
All JonnyPops have a special kindness message on the stick which gives students a chance to discuss and get excited about spreading kind words to their classmates and teachers.
