Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Renee Ware as Baker Intermediate School’s new assistant principal. Mrs. Ware is no stranger to Baker Intermediate and Clark County Public Schools. She is entering her 25th year in education, all of which she has served within CCPS as a teacher at Clark Middle School and Baker Intermediate School. While her role is changing, Mrs. Ware is continuing her career path in the same building where she started her career in 1996, and she is excited for this new opportunity to serve her fellow students, staff members, and community.
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Ware has served as a coach, team leader, core content leader, transition coordinator, SBDM member, and on various district committees. Mrs. Ware is a Clark County native and a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Eastern Kentucky University, and Georgetown College. Renee’s husband of 22 years, Eric Ware, is also a Clark County native and GRC graduate. They are the proud parents of Jake (20) and Nate (16). Jake is a junior at EKU majoring in accounting and finance. Nate is a junior at GRC and hopes to follow the same collegiate path as his brother. Mrs. Ware is the daughter of Sue and Rick Oliver.
With such deeply planted Clark County roots, Mrs. Ware has had the unique opportunity to work alongside some of her former teachers, former classmates, and former students. Mrs. Ware is dedicated to removing barriers and empowering students, families, and colleagues. Renee is passionate about the success of her Baker Intermediate and CCPS family and can’t wait to get started in her new role.
Congratulations, Mrs. Renee Ware!
